By using this site, you agree to the following. We’ve tried to keep it short and human; if anything’s unclear, write us and we’ll explain.

What we do

Unsung Shoe Repair (“Unsung,” “we”) provides shoe-repair services. The site lets you submit a request, receive an estimate, approve or decline that estimate, and follow the work through to return shipping or pickup.

Quotes and approval

Estimates are based on the photos and notes you provide. The actual cost may change after we have the shoes in hand and see something we couldn’t from photos. If that happens, we’ll send a revised quote before doing any extra work, and you can approve, decline, or ask us to ship the shoes back without doing the work.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work, before return shipping or pickup. We’ll send a final total based on the approved estimate.

Shipping and risk

You’re responsible for shipping your shoes to the shop and paying for return shipping. We recommend insuring valuable shoes; we’re not responsible for loss or damage in transit.

What we won’t do

We reserve the right to decline work for any reason. If we don’t think a repair is worth doing or possible to do well, we’ll tell you and send the shoes back without charging anything.

Account information

You agree to provide accurate contact and shipping information. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. The current version is always on this page.
